Feeling worried or anxious about not getting pregnant is completely normal for many couples. Here’s a structured way to begin understanding and managing the situation:

1. Assess Your Basic Health

Start with a medical check-up for both partners — including hormone testing, ovarian function, uterine health, and semen quality.

  • If you are over 35 years old and have been trying for more than 6 months, you should consult a doctor.

  • If you are under 35 and have been trying for 1 year without success, you should also consult a fertility specialist.

2. Track Ovulation

Use an ovulation test kit (LH test) or monitor your basal body temperature (BBT) every morning. Your doctor may also recommend ultrasound monitoring to track follicle development and identify the ovulation period.

3. Have Regular Intercourse

Have sexual intercourse regularly, especially during the 4–5 days around ovulation — either every other day or daily during that period.

4. Adjust Lifestyle and Take Care of Your Health
  • Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

  • Maintain a healthy weight.

  • Reduce stress and exercise regularly.

If you have done all of the above and still have not conceived, it is recommended to consult a fertility specialist for further evaluation and personalized treatment planning.
